  1. The most harmful weeds growing on our farms are hemlock, chickenweed, dockins, thistles. Hemlock is poisonous and dangerous to cattle. The other weeds use up the food necessary for fruit and vegetables.
    Clover: Clover is usually found in good land and is very good feeding for animals.
    Dandelion: From the yellow flower of the dandelion which can be found in the ditches hedges or fields, wine can be made which is a very good tonic in the Spring time particularly for children. It is good because there is iron in the stems and heads of the
