  1. A tailor is a man who makes suits for men, and Dressmakers make suits for ladies.
    There are two tailors in the district, McMorrow near Cullintra, and Mrs. Keon in Glenkeel near Kiltyclogher.
    These people work in their own homes. Then gents tailor stocks the cloth, but the customers bring the cloth, to the dressmaker.
    Cloth is not spun or woven locally now, but long ago linen was woven locally, and made into tablecloths, sheets, pillowcases, and towels. There is a ruin of a bleach mill in Glenboy.
