- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)are still in Dalgin and the present owner is Mr. Charles Kiirwan. There is another family of the Kirwans in Gardenfield and another in Castlehacket. Bodkins house is still here but is owned by a different family. There was also a family called the Birminghams who were cousins of the Kirwans. They lived in Millbrook and the ruins of the house are to be seen there yet. Mr Birmingham was a great astronomer. He was able to read the stars through the telescope and he discovered a new star. He owned a mill in Millbrook. His niece was one day walking through the mill. Her coat got caught in a wheel and she was torn in pieces. Her name was Fanny Bell. A lot of fairies were seen after Mr. Birminghams death.There are two churches in Milltown parish. One in Milltown and one in Ballyglass. The chapel in Milltown is one hundred years old.There were three mills(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
