    9. They used to play classes at wakes also.
    10. The corpse would be laid on two tables and a white sheet over it. The sheets used to be tied with straw ropes.

  2. 1. It would not be right to go a short way to a funeral.
    2. The corpse used to be carried out the back door and around the house three times.
    3. The coffins were carried in a horse and cart to the grave-yard and three of the friends would sit on top of the coffin.
    4. The corpse used to be kept in the house three or four days.
    5. When the corpse would be taken out the dust would not be swept out until two or three days after that.
    6. When the corpse would be taken out it would be laid on two chairs.
