  1. Once upon a time there lived a fellow and he was not clever or wise he was a amadán. He heard people say that feathered beds were very soft and warm. He was walking along the road one day and he saw a feather on the road. He picked it up and brought it home and said he would put it under him that night. So he put it under him on the floor. He lied down on the feather and tried to sleep. After a while he rose up and said, "This is a very hard bed" "God help the one that has a hundred of them under him tonight.
