  1. About fifty years ago when they were making the railway line. There was a bush in the way and it was supposed to a fairy bush. The Ganger told the working men to cut the bush and they couldn't.
    So the railway company offered five pounds to anyone who would cut that bush and no one cut it, and they had to run the railway crooked. Before ever the railway line was built it was foretold that there would be a railway there. It was said that there was a train seen and heard long before the railway line was put down.
