    Long ago there was a man walking on the banks of a beautiful lake where he saw a mermaid combing her hair. He stopped and spoke to her and asked her to come home with him. She went along with him and very shortly afterwards they were married. They lived very happily for seven years. One day they went on a journey where they had to cross the lakes where he first met her. Suddenly she disappeared and swam inot the lake and he never saw her again from that day until this.
