In Tracey's land in Finuge there is a fort called the fort of Spancils. The Danes are supposed to have built it. There are two other forts adjoining it but they are of very little importance.
The fort is circular in shape and bounded all round with high fences. It is never tilled and nothing grows in it but trees and bushes. There is an underground tunnel leading from one fort to the other which was used by the fairies long ago. This is a story connected with the "fort of Spancils".
