Ballintoher Fort :- This fort
is situated in Behan's land
It is round in shape and
was surrounded by a ditch
part of which only now
remains It seems to have
been covered with trees also
but these have been all
cut down. In the centre
can be traced what seems
to be the remains of an
old quarry.
About thirty or forty
years ago this place was
greatly spoken of by all the
people and it was said that
the "good people" lived there.
Fairies were seen these by
day as well as by night.
