    National School Lixnaw and bordering on "fortfield". Anyone who walks there about midnight is always led astray and cannot get out of it unless some human being comes along. If nobody arrives he has to remain there until morning. This happened to Paddy Daughton a man in this locality. One night he set out to visit a neighbour's house but when he entered this field he could not get out. He thought he saw the house in the distance but every time he went towards it, it disappeared.
