    he know such a place as "Grancha" in the parish of Lixnaw. He said he did and the farmer gave him a lot of money to go to that fort and bring him a box which was hidden there. He went and found it and brought it to the farmer. He opened it and took out a hare's ear. He boiled it and gave some of the soup to the man to drink. The first sup he took the farmer asked him what did he know he said he knew where every hidden treasure was. He took another sup and the farmer asked him what he knew but he said he knew nothing.
