  1. Before the Kiltullagh lands were divided there were two hidden wells there which the people did not know of. After the division of the lands these two wells were found after much tilling of the land, at which work the people were employed when they located one of the wells, after a few years more they found the latter of the two wells.
    It is said that St. Brigid visited this one and that its waters are blessed.
    These two wells are still to be seen, one of them which is overgrown with weeds, while from the other well called St. Brigids the neighbouring people get the Spring water.
