  1. There is a place in Mike Fahy's land called Clas an Aifreann or Glen of the Mass. It was said that where Mass used to be said in the Penal days.
    It is said no one should come out from a corpse house alone. One night a man was coming home from a corpse house and the man who was dead shook hands and said good night.
    It is said that an old man lived in Tyaquinn [Tiaquinn] and that there was an old tree growing outside the house and this day he went out to cut the tree and he got a pot of gold under.
