There was once a man living near Athenry and he was very poor this day he was out fishing and he saw a big salmon in the river he put down his fishing rod and when he took it up he saw an old three legged pot then he was going to throw it away but he said he would bring it home. Then he met a gentleman and the man said it was worth thirty pounds and so he got thirty pounds for it and they were never poor again.
