    It is called acres because long ago before it was divided it was a thirty acre field.
    Rath, in Lenarea
    In Lena-reagh there is a field called the Rath. It got its name from a lios that stands in the middle of the field. The old people say that the fairies dance there every night.

    In Balllyglass there is a hill called "Corr na Gaoithe". It is surrounded by bog. The people say it is called that name because it has no shelter from the cold winds.
