    Our Landlord 2-6-'38
    In the year 1879 the land act came in force. Michael Davitt suffered very hard and died in jail trying to get land for the poor people, and so did Charles Steward Parnell.
    The landlords were Mr Blake and Sir Henry Gratten Bellew. Mr Blake was left Vermount at this time and was in London.
    He told his agent to divide the land to the tenants.
