  1. The people long ago had a lot of old customs.
    (1) The people would not throw out any dirt or dust on New Years day or if they did they would not have any luck for the year.
    (2) The people would not give any milk to anybody on the 1st of May or if they did they would not have any milk for the year.
    (3) Long ago on the 28th of December every year the people would not do any work because it was the odd day of the year.
