  1. The old Irish people had a lot of customs. (1) When the people got married long ago they used to always go home from the Church a different road from the road they came.
    (2) My father told me this custom - when the people met a funeral they used to turn back and walk three steps with it.
    (3) When the people (m) used to be going on a journey they used to put a pinch of salt in their shoes.
