  1. In a big house not very far from us a poor man came to the door one day and asked the mistress for a piece of bread.
    She gave him a piece of stale bread and butter. The man walked away and took the butter off the bread and eat it.
    He returned to the mistress and said to her "here is the board Mam and thanks for the butter".
