  1. There was once a woman who lived in Derrylissane. She had a lot of children, and she used to stay up late at night sewing for them.
    She used to keep the dog with her, and she used to put him out before she used to go to bed.
    One night she stayed up very late sewing. When she was going to bed she went to put out the dog and when he went to the door he would not go out for her and he let a mournful roar. she heard a terrible noise and she went out to see what it was and she saw two men going around
