    My Father told me about the Land Lord of our district. His name was Johnson. he was an Irishman and ha had a wooden foot. He was not a Catholic, but all the same he was very charitable to the poor but he was very hard in putting high rents and rates on the land.
    All the same he never put anyone out of their land if they were not able to pay their rents and rates.
