    Deirtear go mbíonn an dreóilín ar leath-shuil Lá Fhéile Stiopháin, agus beireann na buacallí go réidh uirrí. Cuireann siad isteac i mbosca í, agus téigheann siad thart ó theac go teac ag iarraidh airgid agus deireann siad i ngac teac:-
    “A Dreóilín, A Dreóilín,
    Rí na n-Éan
    Is mór é do muirighin,
    Acht, is beag é tú fein.”
