  1. This is a story of a parish priest of Duagh whose name was Fr. Hartnett. He was very old and he used to be always snuffing. "One field day" he had to go to Listowel to hear confessions. He was snuffing away while hearin confessions, until at last he slept. All the other priest were laughing at him when all of a sudden he woke, and he asked the priests what were they laughing at. They said at himself because he was sleeping while hearing the confessions. He rose up and he told all the people to kneel at the railings and he gave them absolution without telling their sins. He told them to go and receive Holy - Communion next
