  1. In olden times a football match was played at Moynsha which is about half way between Duagh and Abbeyfeale.
    The teams that played were, Duagh and Abbeyfeale and there were twenty-one men on each side.
    A few evenings before the match was played, the teams came together and the best men were picked for each side.
    Duagh were the winners of this match. The players wore togs made from flour-bags, and their ordinary jumpers.
    A big leather ball was use by the teams. The
