Called to three public houses in each house he called for a drink and gave money to the shopkeeper to keep for him until he'd return. When he returned he would make the magpie screech and the man would give him back his money. On his walking he met a rich man having a motor. The man asked him in his car. When they came to the city the rich man asked him to have a drink in a house. O no says the poor man. I'll call for the drink. Come into this house which he did. When the drink was called for the poor man did not pay but got back his money. This happened for the three houses. The gentleman was so surprised he asked what kind of a bird she was and would he sell her for two hundred. Oh no says the poor man or for five hundred that's how I make my living. At last he sold her for one thousand and the motor car. The poor man sat into his car and drove off with his fortune. The gentleman went right into the next public house called for a drink. The bird did not say a word he did not want to pay for the
