    I awoke and found my head between the bed and the wall,
    My feet were tangled in the bedclothes and 'twas whiskey did it all.

    There's a neat little townland not far from this place,
    'Tis the last place God made, and sure that's no disgrace.
    It cannot boast of a field or a bawn,
    And the name that it goes by, is Upper Clahane.
