  1. This is an iron tonic and is drank like any ordinary iron tonic.
    It is first cleaned and dried. Then put in a teapot or saucepan with a certain quantity of water and left to infuse for a few hours. It is then strained and cooled and kept in an air tight bottle and used before meals three times a day.
