  1. 4. When milking cows you should never rinse buckets out the door or throw away the rinsing water or you will throw away the luck. It should be put into the milk.
    5. Long ago there lived an old woman in this locality and she used to go to her neighbours' stalls during the night and put a two shilling piece on a cow's back and draw the milk into her apron. She did this night after night and next morning she'd have a corresponding increase of milk and her neighbour's cows went dry.
