    Ans. On the outside.
    What relation has a door mat to a door step?
    Ans. A step father.
    Why is a dirty child like flannel?
    Because it shrinks from washing.
    Why is an umbrella like a pancake?
    Ans. Because it's seldom seen after lent.
    What is the difference between a tenant and a son of a widow?
    Ans. The tenant has to pay rents (two parents) and the son of a tenant has not two parents (to pay rents).
    Why does a miller wear a white cap?
    Ans. To cover his head.
