    before May. 1st, on the Saturday before St. John's Day and on the Saturday before Michaelmas.
    To pray a "round" it is necessary to walk round the well three times and meditate of the Fifteen Mysteries of the Rosary taking five mysteries on each round of the well.
    The well was blessed and named Tobar Miure by Father Harthett, who was Parish Priest of Duagh about ninety years ago.
    The water is specially recommended for the cure of sore eyes.
