    three women came and sat around the fire and they put down the fire and put down the kettle and made tea. They had it made one of the women said to the other "That was dirty water". The other woman spoke "It is not for it was late last night when the poor girl went to the well. For the Mistress dirtied it and she put it on the dresser and it was never touched since". They drank the tea and when all was over one of them said "I will put money into the can for the girl, she will be the first to get the can in the morning". The three women put money into it
