When he looked under the flag he got a crock of gold under it. He took a crock of gold and he took it to a hole in the ditch and hid it there, until he would be going home. He was called to his dinner and when he came out he looked at the crock of gold to see if it were there and he was afraid the leprechaun might come and carry it. It was there, and he kept on working.
