  1. There is a house built on a path to a fort somewhere in the Ballybunion district. The people who owned the house heard queer noises in the house at night. They put a Blue Terrier in the house one night and next morning the dog was found dead. The owner who lived in another house near by heard trampling of horses' hoofs in the middle of the night and when looking into the matter in the morning found the horse which he had put there the night before with its muzzle stuck in a mossy part of the ditch and it was sweating very hard. The result of all these queer happenings may be because the house is built on a path to a fort.
