  1. My grandmother told me that she remembers at a wedding feast in Ballybunion the "Sappers" were refused whisky as they had drank too much so for spite the put dandruff from a horse into the beer and three men were killed.
    My grandmother told me that at a wedding the young man who had won the race doffed his hat to the crowd and as he was not looking where he was going he crashed into the gate of the church and he fell and broke his neck.
