  1. Great Walker: -
    Timothy Moloney of Coilagurteen, Knockanure, walked from Coilagurteen to Tralee in 8 hours. When he was leaving Tralee in the evening he was very drunk, and he left about 6 o'clock. When he was about 3 miles from Listowel, he fell on the road, and it freezed that night. He stayed on the road all the night sleeping. His brothers got him stuck to the road the following morning. They had to pull him from the road with ropes, and all his hair stayed stuck to the road.
