  1. In the town land of Beenbrack in a farm owned now by Joe Collins, it is said that a pot of gold is hidden. It is supposed to be hidden there by the fairies. An attempt was made to find it, but it was all in vain. The people say that the treasure is guarded.
One morning as James Quinlan a former owner was walking around the farm he saw a pot turned up side down on the top of a small hill. He tried to turn it but it was impossible and he went for help. When the help came the pot had disappeared and it is that this pot contains the hidden gold.
The gold is believed can be found even to day, if a courageous person would search for it.
