Each year in the winter time some of the potato crop is selected and stored for the coming year to plant. The potatoes are middle-sized. About the month of January the potatoes are put sprouting in sprouting boxes. Then the seed is cut. There should be an eye in each seed. Women generally cut the seed and then it is planted.
