    There was a girl going for her milk in the evening.

    There was a girl going for her milk in the evening. She had to cross a fort. When she came near the fort she heard some one calling her saying Nellie. She went into the next house to see if anyone calling her and they said no. She stayed till it got late. When she was coming home she was taken into the fort. She saw a cow that was after dying belonging to a farmer. When she was left of the fort she had her gallon and instead of milk she had a leg of meat. When she went home her father went for the priest and the priest said
