    was the landlord over Gurtdromosillihy. He lived in Sallowglin. Captain Massey was the landlord over Direen. Mr Scanlon was coming home from Listowel with some others and he fought with one of the men and he killed him. Mr Scanlon would be hanged only for Captain Massey.
