    A great snow storm occurred about forty five years ago on the eleventh of February.

    a market day in Listowel. A man was coming home from the market and he had to go into some house along the roadside and left the horse standing in the road until the morning. It was a great surprise to everyone that the horse lived. The snow was about thirty feet in depth.
