    Long ago fairs were not held in the town they were held in fields. There is a field in Claremount and it is called the fair green. There is a field in Corribdale and it si called Páirc an Aonáigh.
    Long ago sometimes the buyers would go around to the houses buying the stock.
    Long ago fairs were only held once in the three months now (ther) they are held once a month.
