    to take out a thorn
    Whooping cough. Water of three marens meeting together is suposed, to be a good cure for the whooping cough.
    Bad heart. Dandline when boiled with brown sugar is a cure for a bad heart
    Fits. If a dog got fits it is said to be a good cure to give him washing soda.
    Sore Throat. Bran when boiled in (hot) water and wrapped in cloth and put to your throat is said to be a good cure for a sore throat
    Sore foot. If a person hurt their foot with a stone and if they made the sign of the cross on the stone with their foot it would cure it
    A Sty. For a sty the cure is to wash it with cold tea.
