  1. A football match was played in Glenamaddy one Sunday last year and the teams that were played were Glenamaddy and Dunmore. It was a great sight to watch them playing and the game lasted an hour. There were fifteen players on each side.
    The captain of the Glenamaddy team was Michael Raftery and the captain of the Dunmore team was Brendan Nestor.
