The people used make presents to blacksmiths above other people. - There are four forges in Glenanaddy The names of the blacksmiths are Tom Walsh, Bill Keaveny, Pat Conneally, and Roddy Fahy.
Two of them are in the town and two in the country.
All the forges are galvanised. There are double doors in the forge and one fireplace.
