    Blacksmiths and Forges.
There are four forges in this place.
The names of the blacksmiths that own them are Bill Keaveney, Tom Walsh, Roddy Fahy and Pat Conneally.
The people before them were not blacksmiths.
There are two of them in the town and two in the country.
    The forges are galvanised.
The doors are double and there is only one fire place in each forge.
    The bellows are bought.
The implements used by the blacksmiths are hammers saw pinchers, files, nails and other things.
The smiths makes implements such as harrows, ploughs, gates, grates, tongs, and they repair ploughs and bicycles.
My parents never heard of any use being made of forge water or of the little bits of red iron that fly from the anvil.
The blacksmiths do alot of their work
