    The care of Potatoes.

When the manure is put on potatoes they are moulded with shovels and they are moulded again after a fortnight.
Then they are sprayed twice to keep away the blight.
They are left there until they are fit to be dug and then they are dug with forks in October and are put into pits.
the pits are made with a spade and a shovel.
    Names of Potatoes.
There are alot of different kinds of potatoes and here are some of them:- Champions, Epicures, Aranbanners, Striped Champions, Kerpinks, Aranvictors Dates Golden, Wonders, Flounders, Early-Roses, Sin Feins, King Edwards Irish Queens Red Champions.
This is the way we make a potatoe cake. First we get boiled potatoes and salt and flour, and mix them all together and then the cake is put on a pan to bake.
