    Continued.
    When the potatoes are well up they spray them.
    When they have their other work done they dig them and put them into pits. They never mix the potatoes. They put the "Champions" into one pit and the "Kerr Pinks" into another.
    They used to make starch of them, by scraping them and from the white of the potato they made the starch.
    (cake by p ) They used make potato cake by pealing them and mixing them with salt and flour.
