    15. On that night also it is said if you put the alphabet in water under the bed the words will form together the man's name whom you'll be married to.
    16. On "St. Martin's Eve" the people kill three cocks and sprinkle the blood at the doors of their houses and in the corners of the stables in honour of St. Martin.
    17. The first Monday of the new year it is said if you cry that day you will cry for ever.
