  1. 1. These are the herbs that are cures for certain diseases.
    2. The dock-leaf and the ivey are good for burns. To boil them and soak their juice into the burn.
    3. There is an other leaf and it cures warts very quickly. Long ago when a person had warts they would leave a stone on the road, and the first to pass the road would take the warts.
    4. The people used to boil nettles for it is said that they would make your skin white.
    5. They also boil nettles for young ducks to make them grow.
    6. The people make ink from the [?] Their berries are poison.
    7. The people dye clothes with elderberries.
