    Old Lioses
    1. There is a very old lios, in the village of Cragane. It is said it is there since the time of the Fenians.
    2. It is round in shape, and there is an old ditch of clay built around.
    3. There is also an old hawthorn tree growing inside the ditch.
    4. It is said that the "daoine maithe" lives in them. It is also said that they sweep living people into those places and leave others in their places.
    5. Lights are often seen and music heard inside them.
    6. Old people say that there a lot a caves under these Lioses.
    7. Nobody ever digs or ploughs them.
    8. Once a man dug an old lios in order to straighten the field, and all his cattle died.
    9. There are other Lioses called "Lios na gCorp." They were used as burial-places before graveyards were cut out.
